Authenticating Atty

So they've got me -- 10 days old and I am officially registered. Here's me with Pappa after we told the Registrar that YES I do have 3 names (I spelled them out using my fingers)! I'll be having to do my tax return next. Not much to report on the home front. The Parents and BigSizzle think I am still sleeping and eating in 2h cycles (and as you can see I do a good 'sleeping lion' impression as befits my second name and as Pappa says is in recognition of my future role as Outside Centre on the Lions NZ Tour in about 20 years) -- but I'm really soaking it all up...

Out and about

MammaLou was determined we would brave the cold so we wandered to the park. BigSis calls me 'PoopyPants' -- fair enough really. She doesn't seem to pleased to have me around just yet ... but I'm revving up the charm to win her over. She showed me a thing called a rattle this morning and told me about colours and sang me a little song; so we're gonna be good pals by the weekend. MadNan came down to meet me and MammaLou was very glad to have her around to help.

Bigfoot

Well as you can see -- I do have pretty big feet for my frame. Papa says that 's a VERY good thing for a boy. So we broke the baby-cocoon at home and ventured out into the town. Everybody seemed to want to say hello to me!

Here we go ...

Well, what an adventure it has been so far. Day 2 on the outside and there have been flowers and champagne, teddies and chocolates galore. A lot of them seem to be congratulating MammaLou - not sure what she did that was soooooo special -- as far as I could she just bellowed like a deranged cow (which several people have said is part of her day typically!). Still she is rather lovely and she did deliver me in 3h after just finishing writing up an interview so no complaints. She says Daddy was rather marvellous too because he literally held her up and told her she was amazing (even though she forgot to ask for the Entenox...) Ho hum. The hypnobirthing CD replacement she ordered arrived this morning. Good timing that. Gotta go -- it's been a whole 2h since I last scoffed a mammacino and they're yummy.
